Mary Monaghan, Project Manager
Mary Monaghan has been Project Manager since April 2008. Before then she was Services Manager at Palmers Green Citizens Advice Bureau for 5 years, after a two year period as Deputy Manager.
Mary spent most of all her working life at the Palmers Green Bureau where she trained as a volunteer generalist adviser in 1989 while still studying at college.
After completing her course, Mary continued her volunteer work at Palmers Green until she was offered a place on the payroll as permanent staff working as a generalist adviser. That took her to various locations across London from 1993, eventually returning to the Borough of Enfield as a specialist welfare benefits adviser in 1999.
She is now the Project Manager and she is based at the Enfield CAB office in Ponders End.
Denyse Nott, Services Manager
Denyse Nott was the Services Manager at the Enfield Town Citizens Advice Bureau since 2003, after a period of three years as Deputy Manager. Between July 2004 and July 2005, Denyse was Borough Manager for Enfield, returning to her Services Manager post at the Citizens Advice Bureau at the end of this period.
Denyse trained as a generalist adviser in 1990 at the Enfield Town Bureau where she worked as a volunteer. In 1994 she became a part-time paid generalist adviser and in 1995 she became one of only two specialist money advisers at Enfield Town CAB.
Denyse particularly enjoyed her work at the Edmonton County Court where, in coordination with other CABs in the borough and specialist housing advisers from the local authority, she had the opportunity to advise a large number of people who were about to have their homes repossessed because of mortgage arrears.
She is now the Services Manager and she is based at the Enfield CAB office in Ponders End.
