Volunteering with Enfield CAB
Enfield CAB is undergoing exciting new changes. We are moving to new purpose built premises at Ponders End and we will be offering a brand new way of delivering our advice service.
Do you want to be part of this?
We are now recruiting for Administrative Volunteers, IT Support Volunteers, Volunteer Receptionists, Millennium Volunteer Scheme, Volunteer Trustees and Volunteer Trainee Advisers
Administrative Volunteers are the foundation of our service. They support our advice team and generally maintain the bureau. They are involved in a variety of tasks including dealing with post, managing bureau stock, updating information and ensuring the bureau runs smoothly on a day to day basis.
IT Support Volunteers play a key role in maintaining the bureau IT system as well as providing technical support to the service.
Volunteer Receptionists will be the first contact the public will have with our new service and therefore one of the most important roles within the bureau. It will be the responsibility of the Reception Team to deal with general enquiries, give out leaflets, allocate appointments and register the public when they arrive in the bureau.
The Millennium Volunteer Scheme is aimed at recruiting volunteers aged between 16 and 24 years to act as ambassadors for the CAB. If you can contribute your enthusiasm and fresh ideas to the future of the service, and can commit a three month period to work with the CAB, we will train you in public speaking, producing promotional material, and generally developing your skills.
Enfield CAB Service has a trustee board made up of Volunteer Trustees who are responsible for the management of the service
